米Yahoo、アリババ株売却で好決算

米Yahooが四半期決算を発表した。金融関係者の予想を上回る増益になった。 売上は低下したけど。
純益は $187 million、売上は$1.13 billion。前年同期は $1.33 billionだった。経営はいいほうに向かってるということなんだろう。
でもよく見ると検索広告もバナー広告も売上を伸ばしているわけじゃない。増益になったのは中国のEC大手アリババのシェアの売却益があったから。

The improvement does include a gain on a sale of its stake in Alibaba in China, which is non-recurring.

But, there was something to worry about: Search advertising revenue was off 19 percent and display was off eight percent on “Owned and Operated” sites on Yahoo.
